Causonomy is developed at the Transcendental Systems Institute. Four names appear across this work, and they are not interchangeable.

- The science. A formal account of how failure arises in normative systems, and of the closed set of causes admissible for any stated problem.
- The reasoning engine
- The protected embodiment of the science: what applies the structure to a stated problem and returns its causal field.
- LOGOSOPH
- The company. LOGOSOPH LTD licenses the right to use the engine within defined domains.
- LOGOI
- The implementation for company diagnostics.
- Transcendental Systems Institute
- The research arm of LOGOSOPH, where the science is developed and published.
The author
Pascal Etcheber is the founder and Chief Science Officer of LOGOSOPH LTD. He read Philosophy and Formal Logic at the University of Exeter and holds an Executive Master in Technology, Management and Innovation from École Polytechnique. Before this work he spent three decades in operations transformation across thirty-four countries, which is where the problem Causonomy addresses was first apparent: that competent organisations investigate failures thoroughly and still miss causes nobody thought to consider.
